i read these words one afternoon. i read them once, and twice, and finally wrote them down to remember. they struck me like nothing had before. the book Cold Tangerines is a gem. the author, Shauna Neiquist has opened my eyes to the appreciation of life and it's simplistic frailty. and while i would love to tell her this one day in person, i will express my appreciation for her boldness here. she helped change my view of life, and this blog is the outcome. this blog is dedicated to everyone who appreciates life and all its quirks.

it will likewise display the beautiful mess of my life. that's what all our lives are, a mess, and everything in front of me has been so far from what i've dreamed. but i'm finding the courage to celebrate it and

call it something beautiful.
