Starlet

"I try to twinkle and sparkle, but I am the smallest star in the shy, and no one eever sees me." said Starlet

"Don't be sad," said the old moon gently. "How big or small you are in not important. Someday, somewhere, someone will notice you."

"But when?" asked Starlet.

I don't remember when or where I found this excerpt... Probably a children's book I read while nannying all the children I love, but I love it too much not to share. We may be the smallest, most insignificant star in all of the galaxies. But the great thing is, we'll be noticed, someday, somewhere. It's comforting.

Just some thoughts, bundled up on a snowy day.
